Dr. Isaacs reviews the types of insulin, essential teaching points, and practical formulas for determining insulin needs for carbohydrates and hyperglycemia. She demonstrates insulin delivery devices—from pens to pumps—and shows how to use glucose results to evaluate and adjust therapy.
The course also provides a comprehensive update on the latest diabetes technology, with a focus on real-world problem-solving. Dr. Isaacs walks learners through interpreting glucose reports, including the ambulatory glucose profile, and applying insights to reach individualized glucose targets.
