- State ADA Exercise Guidelines highlights.
- Discuss goals and safety precautions for diabetes and exercise.
Course Objectives:
- Describe the application of the American Diabetes Association Standards of Care for people living with prediabetes and diabetes across different care settings, including medical nutrition therapy and other lifestyle interventions.
- Incorporate a person-centered, shared decision-making approach while providing diabetes self-management education, problem-solving support, and strategies to reduce short- and long-term complications.
